xFarm Technologies, a Milan-based leader in digital agriculture, has announced a strategic partnership with Brazilian agritech company Checkplant. This move strengthens xFarm’s position in Latin America and enhances its ability to support global agrifood supply chains with advanced digital solutions.
xFarm Technologies already supports over 500,000 farms and 100+ enterprise clients across 8.3 million hectares. The collaboration with Checkplant, whose Farmbox platform covers more than 4 million hectares in Brazil, aims to combine complementary strengths. While xFarm specializes in working with small and mid-sized farms and value chain projects, Checkplant brings extensive experience with large-scale farms, covering 50% of Brazil’s cotton and 11% of its soybean acreage.
Checkplant’s technology enables data-driven decisions in crop planning, pest control, climate monitoring, and productivity management, with ERP integration and a focus on sustainability.
With a Brazilian team already active on the ground, xFarm Technologies can now scale up operations faster, bringing its expertise in traceability, regenerative farming, and MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) to a broader market. In return, Checkplant gains access to new technologies and global reach to enhance its services.
Leaders from both companies emphasized shared values and the potential to transform agriculture by delivering smart, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Together, they will cover over 12 million hectares globally, leveraging proprietary platforms that deliver DSS tools and agronomic models to support informed, efficient decision-making. The partnership marks a key step in reshaping digital farming on an international scale.
