Many representatives from Italy’s cultural and economic scene have been or will be present at the exhibition, including notorious Italian entertainment figures such as actress and singer Serena Autieri and business leaders like Giacomo Mareschi Danieli, CEO of Danieli Group.
Italy Pavilion thus becomes a showcase of Made in Italy that tells the world about Italian culture, excellence, arts, enterprises and artisans. The opening event is also enriched by a discussion on export to high-potential non-EU markets, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific area. Expo represents, indeed, a remarkable opportunity for Italian companies to enter Asian markets. Thanks to the agreements stipulated with 18 out of 20 Italian regions, as well as institutions and industry associations, the Osaka universal exposition make room for the Italian production system within an institutional framework of support and promotion. In this context, the Italy Pavilion also becomes a place of new opportunities for Italian entrepreneurs, who have the chance to showcase their businesses and establish new collaborations.
Among the key companies participating in Expo is without a doubt the company led by Giacomo Mareschi Danieli. Danieli Group, whose innovative power-feeding system for electric arc furnace was launched by the Japanese steel producer Shinkansai just before the start of the exhibition, organized an extraordinary concert with the electric furnace as the only musical instrument. A performance that aimed to celebrate technology, creativity and sustainability.
