Lorenzo Vangelisti’s expertise in asset management: an in-depth look at Valeur Group’s business activities

To provide a safe and solid financial harbor for clients, while generating returns using excellence, proactivity and efficiency as crucial assets. This is the original idea Lorenzo Vangelisti had when he established Valeur Group in 2010. A manager and investor with sound knowledge of banking and finance, he gained considerable experience in major financial centers over more than 20 years of professional experience, after which he decided to establish his own firm.
Lorenzo Vangelisti was born in Mendrisio (Switzerland) in 1977. After receiving his high school diploma from the Scuola Cantonale di Commercio in Bellinzona, in 2001 he continued his studies and obtained the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate from Centro di Studi Bancari – Vezia (Switzerland). Subsequently, in 2004, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate from the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, VA (USA).
After many years at Credit Suisse International – where he held several roles of responsibility including those of Vice President of the Private Banking Network and Director of the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Division – Lorenzo Vangelisti took the leap and decided to found Valeur Group. The expertise he previously acquired allowed him to establish a fast-growing business with significant experience in asset management, investment advisory, trading, research, and real estate services. Today, as Partner and Chief Executive Officer, he is committed to leading the Group with the objective of delivering excellence in all the services provided. These include offering high value-added solutions to build customized strategies and investment products, ranging across a broad array of geographies, asset classes, styles, and objectives.
The Group headed by CEO Lorenzo Vangelisti has operations in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom, and is composed of five interrelated companies: Valeur Capital Ltd (London), which represents the heart of the Group’s asset management and structured investment product services; Valeur SA (Lugano), an asset manager of foreign collective investment schemes, which manages UCITS and SIF Luxemburg funds; Valeur Securities SA (Pfäffikon, Switzerland), the Group’s trading desk providing an investment platform with wide access to the market; Valeur Concept SA (Lugano), which offers real estate investment solutions and architectural services, with a particular focus on the Italian and Swiss real estate markets; LinkedTrade Technologies Ltd., a London-based digital platform for trading products acquired in May 2021.
