Crane Company acquires Trillium’s U.S. pump business for $240M

The acquisition of the U.S. pump business from Trillium Flow Technologies, a portfolio company of First Reserve, for approximately $240 million marks a new industrial consolidation transaction for Crane Company (NYSE:CR). The definitive agreement, confirmed via press release, values the asset at approximately 14.6 times estimated 2026 adjusted EBITDA, against an expected annual revenue volume of approximately $115 million.

The transaction includes the integration of the industrial brands Floway, Wemco, Roto-Jet, and WSP, which specialize in providing engineered pumping solutions primarily designed for municipal water and wastewater treatment. The business unit’s market positioning leverages a large installed equipment base, a strategic asset that ensures a steady revenue stream from technical support, maintenance, retrofitting, and replacement parts.

“These brands represent an excellent strategic fit that enhances the quality, durability, and growth profile of our Process Flow Technologies segment — stated Alex Alcala, President and Chief Executive Officer of Crane Company — It expands our position in highly engineered pumping technologies, increases our exposure to resilient water and wastewater markets, and brings with it a substantial installed base that drives recurring aftermarket demand.”
