Apple: the new iPhone 12 revealed on 13 October

The big day is coming up! Four iPhone 5g models, AirTags and AirPods Studio headphones are all expected. On 13 October, Apple will unveil its new smartphone models. The pun on the invitation “Hi, speed”, meaning “welcome, speed” but also “high speed”, refers to the new connectivity on the iPhone 12, coming with 5G and the A14 chip already presented on the iPad Air. There are several changes expected to be on this year models: from a completely new design, as seen on iPad Pro and Air, to innovative features like LidAR scanner on Pro models. There is a high chance that so much more will be seen on Steve Jobs Theater stage in Cupertino, where the event will be held. Apple should unveil the AirTags, i.e. tile-like tracking devices that can be attached to items for tracking purposes. AirTags should have no limits in terms of distance thanks to the Ultra wide band which basically generate a worldwide mesh network linking all the devices without limits. We should also see the AirPods Studio headphones, the over-ear version of the classic ones with interchangeable ear cups and headband. There could also be a new second-gen HomePod speaker and even a HomePod Mini.
