Skills and excellence are what makes the difference in today’s workplace according to Gianpietro Benedetti, President of Danieli Group, who made this statement during his speech at the event held in Torre di Santa Maria of Confindustria Udine last 16 September and entitled “Mits day: diplomati Its e imprese si raccontano”. In that occasion, the President underlined the fundamental role they play in addressing and overcoming the tough challenges companies have to face today.
“The ability of MITS is to train young excellences, super technicians with the skills necessary to face the challenges of the industry 4.0: facts speak louder than words, this is what companies need” said Gianpietro Benedetti, speaking to the recent graduates and their families, the businesses and the institutions that took part in the event. During the ceremony, the new IT super technicians and the companies retraced their high-level training experiences. The most innovative prototypes designed and created by the young trainees as part of the project work for the final exam were also presented.
It is also through innovations like these that it is possible to concretely determine the value of the training offer of the two-year post-diploma course through which MITS aims to provide high multidisciplinary skills in the field of advanced automation, additive manufacturing and robotics. Gianpietro Benedetti explained it effectively: “In a context of continuous growth towards the frontier of 4.0, where the manufacturing industry plays a leading role in the Region and Country system, skills and excellence take on a decisive role for businesses. Elements that are not easy to find and that the MITS Academy has continued to guarantee for years with the training it gives to students, who in turn become agents of innovation and change in companies“.
The President of the Danieli Group then drew attention to the outstanding skills of the trainers “who have been able to give life to a hands-on, laboratory-based teaching method, that of ‘Learning by doing’”, underlining that thanks to them young girls and boys can enter companies “with the need to keep learning and growing, of course, but also with skills that those companies often lack”. There are cases in which production companies discover the possibilities of new methodologies applicable to their production thanks to the contribution and the different approach of MITS superior technicians, remarked Gianpietro Benedetti who firmly believes that these make the added value necessary for facing and overcoming the challenges presented by the Industry 4.0.
